I can only feel infinity, if I break out and reach beyond the closed composition and the frame. Every infinite space that I sin itself infinite is not infinite; it is also imaginable and logical, as soon as I introduce “change”. I despise the meditative element in painting because that means that I can only start from a fixed viewpoint, the “ego” or that which is “not at all”. I am looking for a change of viewpoint, that which is relative, not morality as such, but the morality of the deed. One must be able to enter my pictures from all sides and be able to leave it from all sides; the picture then continues like a tone that has been struck.

Until now my actions have reached only as far as disengagement. I have tried to loosen myself from my ties.
Now I will break out.
My whole mind must concentrate on breaking out. Why always the small human things. Why not straight away over and beyond them. I am losing time. I have to be small only for the sake of the chances I need.
I can’t endure that. It has to be. It has to be. And even if they had the feeling they didn’t need me. Enough of these small self-satisfactions. Let us talk of great things. I should be forced to construct a machine,
where I would be able to paint with my hands and feet.

Painting! I am completely losing my ability to painting with wheels. That’s alright. That’s quite alright. What results 10 times better. 100 times better. 1000 times better. I have reached a speed of 160 revolutions per minute – and I can only pour paint.
